BUSHWICK OPEN STUDIOS // JUNE 4-6TH

June 4-6th. I will be participating in the Bushwick Open Studios arts festival happening in the Bushwick section of Brooklyn/East Williamsburg. I will be opening up my loft space to show select photographs from my nightlife series. Most will be from my days at Plaid, Duvet and some from Choice Cu*ts parties. 2003-2008

More information:
MARO HAGOPIAN // BUSHWICK OPEN STUDIOS

BOS is gaining momentum each year and is becoming a hotspot for art critics, curators, collectors and artists looking for inspiration. Im excited to be apart of this community of artists and look forward to meeting and greeting interested folks at my loft. I will also have signed limited edition prints for sale.

BROOKLYN, BUSHWICK & BEYOND

a little journey back into film shooting...living and loving the vivid deep color...posted as is..out of the camera no post-photoshopping...something great about how perfectly imperfect it is...eat dust digital!

Fellow photographer, Tina Zimmer took this portrait of me during a brunch in williamsburg at the Lodge.

YES OBAMA! YES

ok, so this rather large graffiti tag appeared on the wall across from my apartment building in Bushwick this week...i'm pretty sure the artist who created it lives in my building...i could smell residue krylon spray paint fumes in my stairwell. Not very artful but very poignant.
